Visiting our prescribing pharmacist for a consultation can save you the time waiting for an appointment to see your Doctor or waiting in the emergency departments at Dorset County Hospital and offers the convenience of a local, accessible service.

An initial £20 fee is required, this will include a consultation with your pharmacist and a basic private prescription fee. Additional fees may incur in the event that you require a certain medication above the standard cost. Your pharmacist will discuss this with you during your consultation and provide you with appropriate options.

We recommend you book this service, however we do accept walk-ins. Please be advised you may be required to wait a few minutes before being seen. You are welcome to call the branch before coming to see us if you have anything you would like to discuss.

Please note, this is a private service, therefore only private prescriptions can be written.
