This service is run to aid patients in their quitting journey. It consists of one prescription charge (£9.35) if you pay for your prescriptions, at the beginning of the 12-week course.

The service consists of Nicotine Replacement Therapy, as well support and advice from a qualified practitioner throughout the quitting journey. In addition, in March, this service is developing, to work in collaboration with hospitals. This is where the patient can start their quitting journey in the hospital, and then continued in the pharmacy.

The service works through a slow reduction, with more regular visits in the first four weeks, and then phased out in the final weeks.
